This book is about three American Children, Sanu, Eric, and Apr, who have at to the lowest degree 1 parent who immigrated to the United states. In this non-fiction book the author and photographer susan kuklin focuses on the source of cultural identity. and the family. Sanu who is learning how to braid her own hair and cook just like her father and their cultural traditions. And inside this book there are a lot of examples of children trying to preserve their cultural traditions.This book shows the importance of choice and adaptation of cultural identity. Information technology is very intriguing for the children and the pictures are very beautiful
